She was the captain of the Canadian team that won gold at both the 2002 and 2006 Olympic Winter Games- the only Canadian captain (male or female) to captain back to back Olympic gold medals. Campbell was the first female ice hockey player to be inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
