About the Challenge
Through the Own the Podium 2010 Municipalities' Challenge, communities competed against each other to see who could raise the most funds for Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes, on a per capita basis. The Challenge was a great way for communities to showcase their support for our Canadian athletes and sport, allowing them to profile local Olympians and their own community's involvement within the Olympic movement.
Thank You!
The Canadian Olympic Foundation would like to thank all those municipalities who raised money in support of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Teams. Our athletes have proven that they are ready and able to own the podium in 2010 and thanks to your donations, we can ensure they have all the resources and tools needed to be successful against the best in the world.
